There will be an informational meeting for parents/guardians of 8th grade students currently enrolled at BMS on Thursday, February 8th from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm in the Scottsbluff High School (SHS) Auditorium. Students are invited to attend this meeting as well.
It is important for parents and students to attend this meeting as principals and counselors share information about the Freshman Academy, the transition to high school, Career Academy Programming and Pathways, student organizations and extracurricular opportunities, graduation requirements, registration process for the 2024-2025 school year, and parent tips for student success.
Parents of students with last names beginning A-M will meet in the SHS Auditorium at 5:30 pm for a presentation. After the presentation is completed, parents and students will meet in the SHS commons area to schedule individual conferences with SHS school counselors and participate in a guided group tour of the building.
Parents of students with last names beginning N-Z will meet in the SHS Commons Area at 5:30 pm to schedule individual conferences with SHS school counselors and participate in a guided group tour of the building. After the guided tour, parents and students will attend the presentation in the SHS Auditorium.
