I am a Chadron State College graduate having received my Bachelor of Science in 7-15 English/Sociology Education in 1993 and my Master of Science in School Counseling in 2005. I started teaching at Scottsbluff High School in January 1995 and taught English through May 2008. I left for a bit to experience teaching alternative and online learning at ESU 13 from 2008-2014. When the opportunity came about that I return to SHS as a school counselor, I was very excited to return to my own alma mater and home as an educator. I've been a counselor at SHS since 2014. I have two sons, one who graduated from SHS in 2016 and one who graduated from SHS in 2021. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to go to school here, to have my children attend here, and to work in such a great school.
