Class of 2027

About Me

Greetings Students and Families!  I am excited to help navigate the next four years of your high school experience with you.  There are many opportunities, classes, activities, and resources available to you as you work to establish and reach your goals throughout high school but also as you prepare for life and post-secondary education and careers beyond graduation!  I look forward to working with you and helping you follow your dreams.

Just a tad bit about me..... I am a former graduate of Scottsbluff High School just a "few moons ago!"   I have worked as a school counselor since 2005. I was an elementary school counselor for 6 years with Omaha Public Schools.  When we moved back to Scottsbluff in 2011, I had the opportunity to transition into an Admissions Counselor position through Western Nebraska Community College until the spring of 2012 when I joined Bluffs Middle School as a Special Education Teacher.  In 2015, I had the opportunity to transition again to Scottsbluff High School as a School Counselor and have enjoyed working with students and families within the high school setting.    I have obtained a Masters of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Masters of Science in Special Education with emphasis in Behavior Disorders from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.  I also enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, sports, and crafting.

Please do not hesitate to reach out or contact me if there is any way I can assist you.
