Homecoming is October 6-October 11 and this year's theme is "Rio" (Tropical Theme).

The Homecoming Parade is Monday, October 6 and begins at 6 pm on Broadway. The Super Rally will follow in the SHS Main Gym at approximately 6:45 PM with the band, teacher dance, drill team, cheerleaders, competition of the classes, recognition of fall activities, and finally the crowning of 2025 Homecoming Royalty.

The football game vs. Hastings will be on Friday, October 10th at 7:00 pm, and Homecoming Royalty will be introduced at halftime of the game.

Saturday, October 11 is the Homecoming Dance from 8:00 pm-10:30 pm in the SHS Commons. Homecoming dance tickets will be sold starting Monday, October 6, in the school store. Tickets will be $5 and sold during lunches, Monday, October 6, through Friday, October 10. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door on Saturday, October 11. If students will be gone for an activity, they need to purchase tickets as soon as possible. Only students in good standing may purchase tickets. Please refer to the SHS Homecoming Dance Guidelines 2025 document in this message for information regarding the dance.

SHS students are required to pre-register their dates if they are not currently an SHS student; failure to pre-register will result in no admittance. Out-of-town dance forms are available in the front office and must be returned by Thursday, October 9th, at 3:30 p.m.
